19kms from Patnitop, Sanasar is a cup shaped meadow surrounded by gigantic conifers. Sanasar has now been developed for golfing and   paragliding. Accommodation is available in huts, Tourist Bungalow & dormitory of JKTDC.

Sanasar, the two villages of Sana and Sar, is considered as one of the most beautiful and scenic destinations in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. This site is a cup shaped meadow that has derived its name from two small lakes, Sana and Sar that are situated 20 km west of Patnitop. Sanasar, popularly known as mini Gulmarg, lies at an elevation of 2079 m above sea level.
