The Haveli built in 1902 by Late Lala Ram Chandra Mathur, Superintendent of Police, Marwar State and later residence of Late Shri Harish Chandra Mathur, Home Minister, Marwar State & Member of Indian Parliament, is the largest treasure chest of such mansions with well preserved paintings. The present family carried out the restoration of their ancestral home taking care to retain the integrity of its original style. Now converted into a Heritage Hotel, Krishna Prakash Heritage Haveli opens doorway to a unique experience of the Marwar region by bringing back to life the grandeur of old days. The Haveli has been lovingly refurbished and renovated and while still retaining its original character it now boasts of all modern amenities.
This magnificent sandstone building with its imposing but delicately carved exterior and simple yet comfortable interiors is a genuine heritage edifice in a sylvan setting, stands as an oasis of hospitality, pageantry and Marwari charm. All efforts have been made to preserve the historical identity and integrity of the haveli despite its modernizing environs. It tastefully blends old charm with best of modern amenities.
