Known for its temples, Wai is located 12.3 kms from the resort and definitely merits a visit. The rustic charm of the place can be experienced in its lanes, temples, Vadas (Houses built by Peshwas) and the famous ghat of Krishna River in Wai. There are many small villages around the area and we recommend you stop for a conversation with the locals, who are known to be extremely friendly.
Another popular spot for nature enthusiasts is the Dhom Dam (22.6 kms from the resort), which is an incredible place to just unwind and soak in the amazing views of the Krishna river and mountains in the distance. It’s picture perfect in every way. |
